Local resident & well-known economist, Vicky Pryce, will speak about her book It's the Economy, Stupid: Economics for Voters, and Polly Toynbee, former Clapham resident & Guardian columnist will introduce Cameron's Coup: How the Tories took Britain to the Brink.

 Marion Coutts - The Iceberg

We are pleased to welcome Marion Coutts, who will be reading from and discussing her excellent & moving memoir, The Iceberg. It is the story of the illness and untimely death of her husband, Tom Lubbock, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and died in 2011. Beautifully written; an essential account of being and dying. This event will be in the shop. All welcome; free event.

To coincide with the launch of her new book, The Madness of Modern Parenting, Guardian columnist and author Zoe Williams will be reading extracts and having a chat with us about the hysteria that so often surrounds parenthood in today's society. Following this, there will also be an opportunity to have any books signed by Zoe. This is a free event, all welcome - please arrive in good time.
